HOW TO PROTECT INTERNAL DOOR FROM MOISTURE

If you are planning to install doors in bathroom or in room with high humidity and you are afraid that life time of doors will be shortened due to such conditions we recommend the following to keep your doors.

At first, you should pay attention to manufacturing quality of door leaf as far as some manufacturers put down their expenditures on materials and production process which can cause sore consequences: deformation of door leaf, specifically detaching of door layers in room with excessive humidity.

For reference: the more panels are cut into door the less is the risk of door deformation from moisture.

When door is installed in premises that are being built or repaired check whether the surfaces with whitewash, plasterwork, cement screed are dried out; otherwise, excessive humidity may cause damages to door leaf. However, we recommend avoiding excessive dryness and high temperature in the room, because too large temperature differences may cause cracks and distortion of structural components. For normal operation of door recommended humidity should be kept within 40-60%.

Varadoor company produces high-quality doors without scrimping on production process, that’s why our doors will serve to you for a long time. Varadoor internal doors will fit well to bathroom and other rooms with high humidity as far as production technology provides resistance to temperature and humidity differences. You should only observe the above recommendations and your doors will operate perfectly.
